But what cause the first electron in the capacitor plate to want to move to the positive part of the battery? We know that electrons move only when there is a potential difference. between a conductor. Is there a PD in that wire? It seems that current is able to flow even when the whole circuit is open that is the dielectric in the capacitor is behaving like an insulator. How is it possible for electrons flow to be happening?
